Melanie Steinhilber grew up in Barcelona and attended the German School there until here secondary level certificate (Abitur) in 1994.

Prior to her first course of studies in language and cultural science at the University of Mainz (Germersheim), she spent one year in Malahide near Dublin, achieving the proficiency degree.

After graduating from university in Mainz, she obtained the MBA in international marketing at the University of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule) in Reutlingen. During her studies and training, Melanie Steinhilber also worked for Hewlett- Packard in Böblingen in different marketing areas and was responsible for a variety of projects.

Melanie Steinhilber has been at uhlsport since 2002 and held the position of Head of Marketing at uhlsport Headquarters since 2007. She only has one objective within the company: the clear definition of team sport brands and their strengthening on all fronts.

Melanie Steinhilber is married and has two children.
